As part of a University module, we were asked to design, print and bind a 32 page book for Peter Zumthor's 1988 talk 'A Way Of Looking At Things', using only black and white, and a 2 colour cover.
The text was both poetic and introspective, often speaking about the sensory experience of architecture, which led me to the theme of warped type, created using a scanner, to portray this. The cover was printed using a risograph printer using a vibrant, representing structure, security and trust, reflecting the values people place in on materials.
